How are life changes made?

Your behaviours and actions significantly determine the life you live. What determines your behaviours are your habits of thinking and feeling that have a hold on you. Addressing these thinking and feeling habits can bring about the behaviour and life changes that are important to you. This can be difficult to do on your own as many of your thinking and feeling habits are automatic.

The Unconscious Mind

Your automatic habits are largely run by your unconscious mind. An example of your unconscious mind in action is when you are driving a car and daydreaming about other things. You are daydreaming with your conscious mind while your unconscious mind drives the car automatically out of habit. This is why many people struggle to make changes with only their conscious mind as their unconscious mind is still running the old, unhelpful, automatic habits. Ease and speed of change is greatly enhanced by also addressing these unconscious habits.

What methods are used?

Sessions are one-to-one, private consultations either at our Brisbane clinic or via phone (or Skype) including Australia wide. All sessions are provided in a friendly, caring and compassionate way.

The approaches used are selected to suit the particular change the client wants. This may include approaches such as behaviour change psychology, mindfulness training & ACT life coaching, or NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Our quit smoking session also utilises the proven effectiveness of hypnotherapy for smoking cessation.

The methods used are all very easy, safe and effective approaches to changing behaviours and giving you much greater empowerment in living the life you want.
